This is Norsekedalen Nature Site and Museum. It is located in West Central Wisconsin outside of the village of Coon Valley. There are so many places to take photos within the acres surrounding an old Norwegian farm. The wild flowers bloom and gardens, birds, and creek beds offer many other photo opportunities.

Orton Effect:
You can Google this and find different versions of this sandwiched layering but I found this method to work especially for landscapes.
Open your favorite photo and then duplicate it. Delete your original photo.
Then go to Image>Apply Image>choose in the blending mode "Screen" and "Opacity" 100% (image will look overexposed. Duplicate this image).
Have the second overexposed image highlighted and under Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to a setting of 15 to 50 but around 25 seems to work well. You can try different settings to see which you like the best.
Select the move tool or just press V on your keyboard. Click on the "Shift" key and use your mouse to drag and drop the blurry image on top of the sharp one and do not release the shift key until after you release the mouse button or the images won't be in perfect alignment. After moving the view you see should be blurry. Go in the Layer palette and in the menu box of blending modes change the blending mode from "normal" to "multiply". You will see the color pop if done correctly. You can then change opacity if to saturated. Flatten when finished.
