Mary Ann's Photo Gallery and Tips

Blog

Lets go from a bad photo to better, and then Fun!

Here is the original photo taken early one morning along Hwy 35 and the Mississippi River near LaCrosse.  The days were warm and the nights were cool creating a fog in the coulees from the mosture.

This is the photo after a grad filter and a little dodge and burn applied.  Certainly makes the photo pop from the beginning one as it came out of the camera.  Who would think that we could have the purple clouds of the Appalacian Mountains along the Bluffs of the Mississippi River.  Thanks to Photoshop anything is posssible.

Beautiful mist photo, Mary Ann. I forget to use my grads. I must give it a try. Thank you for the link, Panos has some really neat stuff. Now I have to study up on my close ups. I played around with the ISO, and messed up some of my photos - my bad! Have a great day, hugs, Edna.
